We'll teach you the fundamentals you need to know about electricity, electrical code and safety. Then, we'll teach you a whole lot more -like how to install electrical power distribution systems, how to wire and connect circuitry and how to work on motors, transformers, generators and the electronic systems in mechanical tools. You will also learn how to design an electrical system.
This course provides the learner with exposure to the electrical engineering profession. On completion of the course the learner will have basic knowledge of electrical circuits, quantities materials and measurements
The following skills will be assessed as part of this course:
•             Perform the basic three electrical measurements: voltage, current, and resistance
•             Connect simple electrical circuits
•             Interpret simple electrical circuits.
•             Recognize the four basic electrical quantities
•             Identify circuits connection and simple circuits symbols
•             Identify different types of switches
•             Identify fuse and circuit breaker
•             Perform Ohm's law and power
•             Identify series circuit connection
•             Identify parallel circuit connection
•             Perform soldering
