This course is designed for Chinese Teachers of all levels with Chinese teaching experience.

Course Objectives

• To improve students’ Chinese language level effectively and efficiently
• To help students acquired HSK grade 6 Certificate

• Chinese Language Studies
• Chinese Culture and National Environment
• Putonghua or Common Speech
• Teaching Methodology and Principles in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language
• Chinese Lexicology and its Teaching Method
• Selected Readings and its Teaching Method
• Essay Writing and its Teaching Method
• The Education Psychology of Teaching Chinese a Second Language
• Selected Readings on Chinese Literature

Assessment

• Classroom Presentation
• Open- book Exam
• Individual/ Group Assignments

Award of Certificate

Upon successful completion of coursework and examination, and a minimum of 80% attendance, students will be awarded a Diploma in Chinese Language Teaching by KLC International Institute.

Admission Requirements

Obtained at least 3 GCE"O"level passes with credit (minimum C6) in Chinese or its equivalent.
