DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française/Diploma in French language) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française/ Advanced Diploma in French language) are official French language proficiency qualifications, administered and awarded by the French Ministry of Education.

They are designed to assess the communicative skills of a candidate in a real situation, using authentic documents, and to evaluate know-how (writing a letter, asking for information, exchanging opinions) rather than the linguistic and formal grammatical knowledge.

There are six diplomas corresponding to the six levels scale of the Common European Reference Framework for Languages. The six diplomas (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2) that make up DELF and DALF are completely independent.

With our preparation courses, you will develop oral and written comprehension, as well as expression in order to facilitate success in the DELF/DALF exam. Thanks to our highly qualified teachers, you will focus on the four skills tested in the exam and get used to its format and methodology so as to be fully prepared on exam day.

The four abilities will be assessed on a specific process, depending on the level:

• Speaking: the candidate will have an interview with an official examiner. It will be on one or several topics (through guided conversation asking for information, debating over a contemporary topic, expressing one’ opinion, etc.)
• Listening: comprehension questionnaires dealing with three recordings or more (about everyday life, news and various information, etc.)
• Writing: following given topics, the candidate will have to write one to two compositions
• Reading: comprehension questionnaires dealing with several written documents about everyday life or a text of ideas
