Data mining and predictive analytics is the process of mining existing data to identify new insights and predicting variables for existing data. This process can be used to inform business decisions and further gain a better understanding of customers, data and how they can be applied to the real world.

This course is aimed at learners with previous data mining experience or who have completed Data Mining & Predictive Analytics 1 at CCT.

Programme Aims and Objectives

This course aims to provide the learner with a strong foundation in the advanced concepts of data mining. Once the learner has completed this course they will be able to:

• Design data mining processes using RapidMiner
• Utilise data mining software for prediction
• Create advanced data mining processes for machine learning
