Whether you want to be a professional photographer or just love taking pictures you will learn what you need to know get the most from your camera with our in-depth 10 week course in photography and photographic portraiture course.

This course will provide learners with a comprehensive working knowledge of digital photography, photographic theory, studio lighting and post-production skills. Students will learn how to move from taking snapshots to making worthwhile photographs using technical skill, imagination and creativity.

Students will gain greater confidence in their visual skills, with a focus on photographic composition, choosing the right equipment, creative use of camera controls and studio lighting, as well as best practice in photo editing and postproduction through Adobe Lightroom 5. This photography course is aimed at keen hobbyists and semi-professionals who are eager to update their photography knowledge.

*DSLR camera required.

Entry level: Beginner - Intermediate.
