The Qualification consists of one book that covers Islamic banking, Takaful, Islamic accounting and Islamic asset management. The online exam is based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
Upon Completion of this program trainees will be able to:
- To develop a good understanding of the operations and products offered by Islamic banks
- To understand the basic concepts of Islamic insurance (Takaful ) and the different types of products and services offered by Takaful companies
- To have an in-depth knowledge of Islamic bonds (sukuk) and understand the different sharia complaint structure for sukuk and its features
- To develop an in depth knowledge of the Islamic finance contracts and the products used to structure these contracts
- To understand the basic accounting treatment for the most common Islamic finance contracts such as Murrabaha, Musharaka, Mudaraba and Ijara
