General introduction:
Professional Practices of implications which includes specific activities like using the latest tools to analyze the performance of projects, defining the responsibilities and obligations and of the project team, organizing and leading by implementing project assessment and controls, defining roles and responsibilities of structure of management developing plans and protocols of communication, and identifying elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims. Best Practices of Managing and Constructing Engineering Projects is the skills of planning, and monitoring the work progress and performance of a project from feasibility, conceptual development to completion aimed at meeting a client's requirements in order to produce a functionally and financially viable project in terms of time, cost and quality.
Program Aim:
Trainees during the program will be introduced to the academic and practicalities field of engineering project construction management includes a wide range of implications and techniques. These range from skills of general administrative management, skills of construction management, risk management, project management, contracts management, value engineering to technical knowledge of preparing construction methods and practices of process of project monitoring including contracts document verifications
Program Goals and Objectives:
The program will help the trainees to become fully familiar in process understanding the best practices of the implications of comprehensive project management and construction management of every stage of the project, beginning with the original concept and project definition, yields the greatest possible benefit to client. Implications of value engineering and cost saving will also be demonstrated to trainees to help the client of getting the most sufficient cost effective design. Controlling all project changes through the phases of design and construction of the project and making sure that project will be delivered on time.
Program Content & Course Out-line:
The program covers the listed Five Modules as per the followings:-
  1. Best practices of Managing Multiple Projects including eliminating causes of projects delays
  2. Introduction to FIDIC information, common, conditions of construction types of contracts
  3. Demonstrating the Principles of managing, reviewing and controlling Projects Design & Reports
  4. Risk Management and analysis of Engineering Projects including disputes and claims management
  5. Process of verifying Bill of Quantities including principles of measurements and feasibility of projects
Program Duration:
The duration of the full program is 20 contact hours covering 5 Modules and will be delivered to trainees through the following plan:-
  • The Five Training Modules can be delivered in a week time during week days Or week End
  • One training module each day including work-shop and discussion
  • 5 contact hours each day for each Module ( evening time 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm) for five days 
  • Timing can also be arranged based on the client team availability
