- Define the roles and responsibilities of a coder and coding guidelines in both in- and out-patient facilities
- Discuss the steps of health-record documents interpretation with the participant’s knowledge of anatomy, physiology, clinical disease processes, and medical terminology
- Define reimbursement methodologies and documentation rules and regulations
- Acquire knowledge and skills and practice questions to pass the CCS examination administered by AHIMA.
