The Studio Production (Basic Recording Techniques) course focuses on the sound recording studio and students are taught proper production and post production techniques required to achieve quality sound production content. The course deals with the theory of sound and characteristics of the human ear which affect the human perception of sound.  Students are guided through the sound production process and equipment requirements for sound production.

AIMS

This course is a hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of sound fundamentals and the audio equipment and technology required to achieve successful audio production.  The various production stages are presented and dealt with in detail and with in detail and the student is taught proper techniques required to achieve quality sound production content.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of at least GCE N-Levels
• Mature age over 17 years
• Familiar with basic computer operations
• Proficiency in English Language
