Programme Outline
Be a “people-empowerer” and “people-discoverer”, not just a people helper.

People do not need to be helped; they need to be discovered.

Everyone is a gift. But in order for a gift to be a blessing, it first needs to be unwrapped.

In the Certificate in Practical Counselling (Basic) course, you would have learnt how to be a good listener and apply a framework (PADI) in walking through a problem with another person. With these basics you have acquired, School of Counselling (subsidiary of AHD) will be rolling out other modules which will allow you to further equip yourself with skills in more specific areas.

Upon completion of any of the modules — each 15 hours long — you will be awarded with the Certificate in Practical Counselling (Advanced) in the relevant module.
