This is a modular programme on Coaching Supervision appropriate for coaches who have achieved at least equivalent to Practitioner level in coach training and have in excess of 100 hours coaching experience. On successful completion of the programme you will be awarded the:

• Understand the purpose of Coaching Supervision
• Explain a range of Coaching Supervision approaches
• Apply models of Coaching Supervision
• Agree a process for providing Coaching Supervision to your coaches
• Identify a process for collaborative support between organisational supervisors or collegiate network arrangements

Module 1 – Engaging with coach supervision

• Benefits and outcomes of supervision
• Examples of options for supervision and what they offer
• Contracting: how to add value for the client and quality manage supervision services
• Model of Supervision - Practice sessions

Module 2 – Extending your coach supervisor toolbox

• Further models and questioning tools
• Practice sessions

Supervision Module 3

• Example of supervision activities for module 3 will include:
• Completing programme activities
• One-to-one / group supervision sessions
• Peer supervision sessions
• Production of a personal development plan

Module 4 – Review experiences

• Reflect on practice activities
• What were the challenges, highs, lows, learnings?
• Skills clinic

Module 5 - Practical assessment

• Observed assessment of supervision skills

Module 6 – Creating a supervision culture

• Review personal development plan
• Challenges/opportunities of being an internal and external supervisor
• How to implement supervision with stakeholders
• Next steps in continuing professional development
• Completion of programme portfolio
