Cisco Certified Network Associate Wireless (CCNA Wireless) validates associate-level knowledge and skills to configure, implement and support of wireless LANs, specifically those networks using Cisco equipment. With a CCNA Wireless certification, network professionals can support a basic wireless network on a Cisco WLAN in a SMB to enterprise network.

The CCNA Wireless curriculum includes information and practice activities to prepare them for configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting basic tasks of a Cisco WLAN in SMB and Enterprise networks.

Objectives:

• describe the security threats facing modern network infrastructures
• secure Cisco routers
• implement Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) on Cisco routers using local router database and external Access Control Server (ACS)
• mitigate threats to Cisco routers and networks using Access Control Lists (ACLs)
• implement secure network management and reporting
• implement the Cisco Internetwork Operating System (IOS) firewall feature set using Security Device Manager (SDM)
• implement the Cisco IOS Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) feature set using SDM
• implement site-to-site virtual private networks (VPNs) on Cisco routers using SDM
