ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the global body for professional accountants with the aim to offer business-relevant, first-choice qualifications to people of application, ability and ambition around the world who seek a rewarding career in accountancy, finance and management.

Currently ACCA is supporting 170,000 members and 436,000 students in 180 countries, helping them to develop successful careers in accounting and business, with the skills needed by employers. ACCA work through a network of 91 offices and centers and more than 8,500 Approved Employers worldwide, who provide high standards of employee learning and development.

On the way to obtaining full ACCA membership, there are a number of interim qualifications which you can gain. This is a great way to demonstrate to employers the knowledge and skills you have acquired so far and helps keep you on track and motivated.

You can achieve the Diploma in Accounting and Business (after completion of the Knowledge module), the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business (after completion of the Skills module), and the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting degree from Oxford Brookes University (after completion of the Skills module and a specific Project).

• To be eligible for the ACCA qualification, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
• Two A-Levels and three GCSEs or their equivalent (five separate subjects including English and Mathematics)
• Bachelor's degree (in any discipline) from a recognized institution
• Diploma in Accounting and Business - Foundation Level qualifications (ACCA)
• AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting
