Throughout this course you will learn about the basic principles of sound. We will cover the proper terminologies that professional engineers use in a recording session. You will learn about the different types of microphones in a studio plus basic and more advanced miking techniques. There is also a portion of this course dedicated to setting up sessions using Pro Tools.
When you complete this course you will be able to use these fundamentals in your day to day recording projects, whether you are recording in your home or in a professional studio. You will feel more confident using effects such as equalizers, compressors, and delays, and you will have a better understanding of Pro Tools which is the industry standard DAW.
