This pro­vides stu­dents with a very solid foun­da­tion in ani­mal care and groom­ing. On course com­ple­tion stu­dents are also eli­gi­ble to apply for a range of 3rd Level Vet­eri­nary Nurs­ing courses.

Pro­gres­sion and Career Options:

Stu­dents may find employ­ment in the Ani­mal Care, Vet­eri­nary Nurs­ing and Groom­ing Indus­try. Grad­u­ates may apply to join our Level 6 course in Ani­mal Sci­ence or apply for entry into related courses in Insti­tutes of Tech­nol­ogy and Uni­ver­si­ties both in Ire­land and in the UK for exam­ple past stu­dents have gone on to study at UCD, DKIT, Athlone IT and Let­terkenny IT.
