This course will introduce both the Programming plus Trading strategy of algorithmic trading. We will be using the MQL4 language on the Metatrader MT4 platform.

This course is will give some insight into the strategies of Hedge fund managers, Quant fund managers, High frequency traders. Although students may be attuned to other aspects of the financial market (such as property, fund of funds, mutual funds), it does not however require prerequisite knowledge in equities/stocks/shares, commodities, CFD's, forex, and so forth. Note that as there are students with differing levels of abilities, although this course will teach from the basics, it will get difficult very quickly, and the speed of elevation is very quick. Students may need to play and replay the video lectures as necessary. This course was designed for busy business professionals who do not have time to waste. Lectures are short, sharp and snappy.

There is no expectation of background in either Programming or Trading strategy, but background in either would be helpful.

As apart of this course, you will be developing your own Algorithm using MT4 from scratch. You will also learn to back test it with past data, to see how successful the system is.
