Business Law

This unit covers the basic concepts of the legal system in Singapore. It will discuss about the different components of business law including legal system in Singapore, contract law, Tort of negligence, and company law.

Human Resource Management

This unit provides students with the knowledge of the different activities used in building human resources within an organization. This includes recruitment & selection management, designing compensations and benefits programs, planning for training & development of staffs. This unit also include the topic of the Human resource Practices in contemporary logistics management.

Business Information Technology

This module covers the concept of hardware and software components and concepts of information technologies used in real business world. Concepts of computing system, operating system, networking system, the Internet, information security and database management technologies will be covered.

Operation Management

This unit provides students with the knowledge of the different concepts of operations management. These include the different planning and analysis tools, quality management techniques and standards, and supply chain management.

Customer Service Management

The unit aims to cover following topics: the role of customer service, the reliability in service systems,communicating with customers,customer interest conflict management.

Marketing Research and Planning

This unit aims to give students critical understanding of the value of marketing research,methods and types of marketing research, and the planning, implementation, and effective application of marketing research.

Entry Requirement

• above 18 years old
• Applicant must holds a diploma in Business Management;
• OR a recognized diploma from other filed with 2 year's working experience;
• Language Requirement for English taught Class：applicant must pass the GCE 'O' Level English   OR   a Pass with a recognized Certificate in English;
• Language Requirement for Chinese taught Class：Pass in GCE 'O' Level Chinese OR recognized Certificate in Business field taught in Mandarin;

Graduation Requirement:

Candidates must successfully complete all six subjects to be awarded the Advanced Diploma
