The Advanced Diploma in Maritime Studies is designed for people in the shipping, logistics, freight-forwarding, trading, manufacturing and related industries. Incorporating the best practices of the industry and enhanced by the combination of business subjects, this course aims to enhance the knowledge of the participants and also prepare them for a related under-graduate program.
This KIBS in-house course aims to provide qualified participants with professional development, to ensure the required standard as well as academic and vocational qualifications towards providing quality maritime studies in Asia-Pacific Regions. This course involves classroom lectures, group discussions and case studies. Participants must successfully complete 9 compulsory core modules, to qualify for the award of the Advanced Diploma in Maritime Studies.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following minimum entry requirements:
- IELTS 5.5 or its equivalent (applicable for international students only)
- Minumum KIBS Diploma or its equivalent

The curriculum comprises of 9 compulsory units to qualify for the award of Advanced Diploma in Maritime Studies. Evaluations and assessments are based on class participations, assignments and examinations.

Concurrently, KIBS is also an approved training centre with LCCI, UK (London Chamber of Commerce) and our courses focus on business and management.
