Manner of Assessment

All project assignments and practical assessments will be graded according to City & Guilds grading scheme. A City & Guilds External Verifier will verify all practical portfolios of evidence, project assignments and practical assessments along with the Internal Assessor. Theory assessment will be graded by City & Guilds.

• Perm hair using a variety of techniques
• Colour hair using a variety of techniques
• Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business
• Contribute to the maintenance of health, safety & security in the salon
• Design & Create a range of images incorporating hairstyling techniques
• Set & Style hair to achieve a variety of looks
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
