We will be introducing you to to this powerful vector image creation program, which is a staple for professional designers everywhere. After becoming familiar with the Illustrator’s user interface, students will go on to learn step-by-step how simple it is to create complex vector shapes using the powerful tools available within Illustrator.
This course is designed for beginners who are interested in Graphic Design and those who are working in Corporate Branding.

Course Lessons

Session 1
Explain why Adobe Illustrator is highly recommended for logo and corporate design, and when do we find it very useful.

Session 2
Learn how to create new document (Art Board), Add more than one Art Board to the project, Open, Open As, Save and Save As Web on Adobe Illustrator.

Session 3
Part 1: Work on creating shapes and modifying them using the tools of the Tool Box (Selection Tool, Direct Selection Tool, Magic Wand Tool, Hand Tool, Zoom Tool)

Session 4
Explain the Pathfinder options, Align features in addition to Transform in order to manage the art board and design in a better way.

Session 5
Part 2: Learn the tools of the Tool Box (Pencil Tool, Paint Brush Too, Eraser, Scissor Tool, Knife Tool, Rotate Tool, Reflect Tool)

Session 6
Explain Typography

Session 7
Explain edit features (Transform, Arrange, Isolation Mode, Clipping Mask, Live Trace, Group and Join)
