This Diploma program is the highest qualification attainable within the makeup industry in Australia.

You’ll learn the technique and practical skills to apply bridal, photography, film, runway and editorial makeup. Plus, you’ll learn hair styling, injury simulation, prosthetics and special effects. These skills will prepare you to successfully work in this endlessly creative industry, doing what you love.

THE CONTENT

The CUA51015 Diploma of Screen and Media has 15 units of competency. This includes 3 core units and 12 elective units. The course covers bridal, photography, fashion, runway, film, TV presenter and editorial makeup. It also includes character design, hair styling, wig application, props, latex ageing and period makeup. It covers prosthetics, special effects, airbrushing, bald caps and industry knowledge. Additionally, you will learn how to provide lash and brow services, like lash and brow tinting and brow shaping.
