Introductory course for anyone wanting to be a bridal and photographic Makeup Artist Maximum of 6 students per class

Course content:

• Introduction to occupational health and safety, product knowledge including brushes & sterilising 
  
• Colour theory and makeup for black and white photography. 
  
• Correction of lips 
  
• Identifying correct foundation colours – tone – shade and use of different types of foundations and concealers 
  
• Determining face shapes and how to correct using contouring and highlighting 
  
• Eyebrow shaping 
  
• Application of lashes (full strip & individual lashes) 
  
• Application of eyeliners 
  
• Blush and bronzer application – powders and crèmes 
  
• Identifying eye shapes and corrective eyeshadow techniques 
  
• Make-up to suit ethnic and Asian colouring and features 
  
• Classic, natural bridal makeup and creating glowing skin. 
  
• Technique for smokey eyes – soft smokey for bridal and rock chic smokey for editorial 
  
• Use of coloured eyeshadows – for fashion/editorial work, making eyes the focus 
  
• Mature makeup
