About Eden Management, Business & Technology Institute
The precursive institution to Eden Management, Business & Technology Institute (EBMT) was founded over two decades ago. The initial institution (Eden College) was set up in 1991 with the initial aim of providing custom specialist management and technical training for corporate clients. Delegates from a host of companies such as British Rail, British Telecom, The Royal Air Force, Barclays Bank, Shell, Barings and several financial institutions attended the courses. A notable achievement over this period was the running of a four-week residential high-level management course for the Ministry of Light Industries, Peoples Republic of China, in both Mandarin and English Languages.
In 1994, the college relocated from its site at Primrose Hill to a more central location at the London South Bank Techno-Park, to service a number of government-sponsored training contracts. At the same time, the scope of the training was broadened to allow the general public to benefit from its programme provision, with the emphasis shifting to more advanced technical and business-related courses.
In 2016, the institution was re-cast as Eden Management, Business & Technology Institute, with a focus on delivering degree (undergraduate and graduate) programmes and tailored accredited vocational courses internationally, working with collaborating partners worldwide using primarily online and blended/on-ground training delivery channels.
