ACCA in the UAE (a special case)
ACCA has signed a strategic partnership with the national accountancy body of the UAE - Accountants and Auditors Association (AAA) - to enhance the accountancy and finance profession in the country by implementing the national qualification of the UAE.
The new national chartered accountant qualification of the UAE - United Arab Emirates Chartered Accountant (UAECA) - has the ACCA Qualification as its basis. Students This partnership will provide a dual-branded, internationally recognised, IFAC compliant route to membership of both AAA and ACCA.
As a potential student resident in the UAE you will be able to achieve the dual designation of "ACCA" and "UAECA" upon completion of your exams, ethics and practical experience. Obtaining this dual designation involves no additional exams it follows the same process as studying for ACCA, the benefits are that you get both the local recognition of the UAECA designation and the global recognition of the ACCA designation.

Duration | Depending on the number of modules you need to take the ACCA and how much work experience you complete during your studies the qualification can take up to 4 years to complete. However you have a 10 year window to complete the qualification if needed. |
