Real Estate Development and Management expertise is seen as a rapidly developing new field of study. In the real estate development and management graduate programs the participants are offered; career building in a new and dynamic field and especially training and research opportunities on subjects such as real estate and asset valuation, real estate investments and financing, land development and project management, real estate economics and management, land acquisition, consolidation, expropriation and zoning applications, taxation of real estate, real estate-development-construction-contract law and information systems. In the postgraduate programs, it is aimed for participants’ to; review real estate in terms of different segments such as owner, investor, financier, operator, planner and user and gain the skills of and strategy development.
In particular, it is observed that there is an intense requirement for land management and policy experts in public and private institutions in Turkey, Central and Eastern Europe, Asia and African countries. In these conditions, in addition to the Master’s (Thesis and Non-Thesis) and Doctorate Programs conducted in the Department of Real Estate Development and Management, Land Management and Policy in Turkish and English (Thesis and Non-Thesis) Programs have been opened, which has gained vital importance in rural and urban areas recent years
