Learning Performance Link (LPL) was established specifically to bring to industry and commerce an ethical and high quality approach to skills development, assessment and quality assurance. Being closely in touch with the action at policy level, their services are never static, and are always informed by restheirceful engagement with the latest developments.  

John Tyers, in his personal capacity has been involved in NQF policy conceptualisation, development and implementation since the start of these processes from as early as 1992. He established Learning Performance Link in February 1998 and has expanded its services through strategic alliances. The first alliance of this nature, during 1999, has been with the Independent Examinations Board, (IEB) which has resulted in a depth of assessment and related quality assurance expertise. they added to their alliance partners Dumisani Dlamini (Umtapo Consulting).
