IMAS was founded in January 2013 with the aim of providing tuition for the CIMA syllabus both on a full time and part-time basis. The need for the establishment of an institution like this was inspired by the National Development Plan (NDP), as well as the shortage of capacity in public institutions of higher learning and training to accommodate all the learners who pass matric in South Africa. Accordingly, IMAS has partnered with CIMA to deliver full-time and part-time tuition to students in South Africa who are interested in studying towards the CIMA syllabus on a full-time basis.
