The modus operandi hinges on the utilisation of its own expertise and an extensive network of high calibre associates in business, academia and research.

Staff members and associates of CEA are often contracted directly by business, government agencies and academic and research institutions to provide services. Projects are also undertaken on an ongoing basis in conjunction with professional bodies and trade organisations.

CEA is involved nationally in South Africa on a day-to-day basis, regularly projecting its outputs by preparing training and education programmes and taking part on conference stages, nationally and internationally. Delegates from other countries constantly attend CEA development programmes as well as educational programmes leading to qualifications certified by higher education institutions.
