It has been estimated that over 125 million workers are injured in occupational accidents every year. About 220,000 of these workers die, and about 10 million are permanently disabled as a result. Because of inadequate reporting and coverage systems in many countries, it is still difficult to determine the possible cause for accidents and how to prevent them. One of the things Pakistan lacks is a sense of safety, which is quite disheartening.
