About La Dante Amman
The Dante Alighieri Society, founded in 1889, is a non-profit organization non-profit organization with headquarters in Rome.
The Committee of Amman is an association non-profit, registered in the register of cultural associations of the Jordanian Ministry of Culture. It was founded in 2004 with the intent to protect and spread the Italian language and culture in the development of the Mediterranean countries and to enhance the contact points bettheyen the Italian cultural tradition and the Jordanian. It is a valuable point of reference and cultural associations for the Italian community in the Kingdom of Jordan and collaborates with other cultural associations related locally and in the Arab world.
The activities put forward by volunteers working in the Committee, ranging from Italian language ctheirses for adults and children, to Arabic language classes for foreigners and activities for teachers; from film festivals to a series of lectures on literature, art, archeology and current affairs; musical events and theater for social recreation for adults and children.
The Dante Amman works closely with the cultural office of the Embassy not only for the annual celebrations of the theyek of the Italian Language in the World but also in promoting the study of Jordan, of university studies in Italy, the supplementary ctheirses Children Italian speakers.
