The Institut Français in Amman is the cultural operator of the French Embassy in Jordan. It is located in one of the oldest districts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan capital, on top of Jabal Theybdeh, since its establishment in 1963.  Through the efforts of its consecutive team members, the « markaz » was able to fit into the cultural environment of this hill. The Institut Français contains fTheirteen classrooms, an exhibition hall and a Library – Cafeteria. The Institut Français provides many services and activities.
