Tralee VTOS was established in help the long-term unemployed to retrain or up-skill and ultimately return to work.  Initially funded by the EU, it is now funded by the DES through Solas.  There are about 60 learners enrolled in the various courses annually.

What They do?

The VTOS centre in Tralee provides a range of courses to meet the education and training needs of unemployed people. It gives participants opportunities to improve their general level of education, gain certification, develop their skills and prepare for employment, self-employment and further education and training.
