What You Will Learn:

1. Autocad: 
A powerful design and drafting software used to create accurate drawings. With hands-on exercises, you will learn the features, commands and techniques to create, edit, and print 2D drawings.

2. SketchUp: 
An excellent tool to create 3D models and visualisations for interior spaces. You will learn how to use key tools and commands, incorporate textures, scenes and styles, and produce visualisations for your designs.

3. Photoshop:
A software application for designers and creative professionals, used for image editing, retouching, creating image compositions, and adding effects. You will learn how to enhance images for your design, add text and create eye-catching presentations.

By the end of this course, you will be able to achieve the following:
 – Create 2D floor-plans and elevations
 – Turn your 2D drawings into 3D models
 – Illustrate your ideas in 2D and 3D
 – Create different views for interior spaces
 – Enhance, correct and layer images, and add graphics

How will I study? 

The course is run from our Dubai studio and is a fast-track route to completing the Diploma qualification in 12 weeks. It combines a total of 10 days of in-studio classes to cover the course content, along with home study to complete all assignments. You can choose between week-day or week-end classes.

What will I learn?

Working with a client brief, you will work on an array of skills to take you from client concept stage, through to design development and final proposal stage for a residential project.

With these skills, you will be able to enter into the interior design industry with the practical knowledge required to work with clients. You'll also learn how to establish industry contacts, where to source materials and samples, and how to start building a design community with your peers.

Whilst receiving hands-on advice directly from our experienced tutors, the in-studio course brings together a fantastic mix of students, helping to create an exciting, friendly and dynamic class and the chance to share ideas with fellow design enthusiasts.
