Courses offered by Ladomate:

General English:
Students will be able to read with greater understanding, speak more easily and correctly. Classes are from Monday to Friday (09h00 to 13h00). Prices are as follows:

Weekly:

Intensive English:
This course will assist international students to make transition into adopting English as a second language. This course covers written examinations, oral presentations, class participation and out-of-class work. After completing this course, students will qualify to enter universities or professional schools. Classes are from Monday to Friday (09h00 to 15h00). Prices are as follows:

Private Lessons:
Lessons are offered if the student requires one-on-one lessons.

BLI, ATO 0373, offers an intensive Aviation English programme, designed to ensure that non-English speaking trainee pilots and ATCs achieve the levels of English competency required by the International Civil Aviation Organisation for effective radio telephony, as well as equipping them to study and write exams in English. The 4 week course consists of 30 x 50-minute lessons per week, and should be taken by students who have successfully completed an Intermediate level exit test (ICAO Level 3 equivalent).

Bay Language Institute, conveniently located near five flying schools, has built up a good reputation for quality and excellent results in Aviation English training. Some two years ago we were accredited by the South African CAA to assess English Language Proficiency for pilots and ATCs.
Standard Avation English courses are a combination of General English in the morning (20 lessons) and Aviation English in the afternoon (10 lessons). Aviation English is conducted by an experienced and enthusiastic English teacher, with extensive and ongoing input from experienced pilots and ATCs.

Besides this course, bli offers intensive aviation English courses to aviation students who require ICAO level 4, as well as to closed groups from different countries. This course takes four weeks in total, 30 x Intermediate level (ICAO level 3 equivalent). This program is also valid for other flying schools in South Africa and Africa.

General English Plus - Bay Language Institute , Port Elizabeth

With General English Plus, BLI offers a combination of 20 x 50-minute lessons per week in their General English programme and 10 x 50-minute Conversation lessons per week, with excellent tuition in small classes (maximum eight students) and a great academic environment. Our programme focuses on developing English communication skills and confidence in using the language, covering the four skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, as well as grammar and an improvement of conversational skills and pronunciation.

Classes run Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 12:40 plus afternoon classes from 13:30 - 15:00. One lesson is equal to 50 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the afternoon.
We have a maximum of 8 students per class.

Business English combines General English in the morning with 10 lessons per week in the afternoon.
