Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training teaches and prepares individuals to implement the principles, practices and techniques of Lean Six Sigma in a support capacity on a Black Belt project team. Green Belts are traditionally Lead process stakeholders and may also be assigned specific process-level improvement projects to conduct on their own - projects that normally do not require the statistical rigor demonstrated by a Black Belt.
At the end of this training programme, participants will be issued with a certificate of attendance. In order to achieve full international certification, participants will be required to pass the IASSC International certification examination at 70% and present a mentored project within 60 days of the end of the course. The mentored Project topic is selected by participant with the guidance from Project mentor. Course fee does not include international Certification Examination fee.

Course Objectives:
The objectives of the Six Sigma Green Belt programme are:

To gain an understanding of the DMAIC process
To develop problem-solving skills for product and process improvement projects
To improve project management skills

This is a 5 full day comprehensive course plus 60 days of project work. Students will be required to complete a Green Belt project and submit the project to their project mentor within 60 days after completing the training. If international certification is required, SigmaStrat will facilitate the administration of the required examination at a fee. A fee of $250 goes for Project Mentoring.

The role of the YellowBbelt is to ensure the barriers to project success are removed and the project team has the proper support from the organisation to be successful. This Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt course teaches any employee the Lean Six Sigma philosophy and how to apply it in his or her role on a day-to-day basis. The participants will continue their exploration of each phase of Six Sigma's DMAIC methodology, including, project charters, process mapping, cause-and-effect tools, simple data analysis, and process improvement control methods. Because of their knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, participants who complete the course will be able to identify process improvement opportunities for escalation to Green or Black Belts and can be a valuable resource within Six Sigma project teams when improving that process, if needed. Course work will be initiated to provide participants the opportunity to practice.
