It is a multi-disciplinary approach and requires a broader understanding of how buildings and humans respond to each ;<br><br>In this first series of the course, the participants will gain understanding of the process of identifying defects and functionality of building facilities that support its core operations. This will give the participants opportunity to know how to reduce the potential defects and disabilities of building elements and equipment in most effective ways. The management of defects and building facilities ensures the physical resources of building such as electrical, mechanical, indoor equipment are always productive and reliable. All building components should be maintained regularly in systematic ways to provide good condition, durable and safe building environment. This practice will benefits all aspects of safety and comfort not only to consumers but to owners and organizations.<br><br><br>The course modules will be presented with the focus on the methods of identifying failure and damage problems at a particular level of time and situation in theory and current case study methods.
