Our country has a road network that impresses the outside community and indeed the roadways have various roles in a country. Apart from ensuring that inter-town or city-to-state travel is stress-free, highway construction is able to generate economic growth of an area. Hence, it is a priority for construction of roads to be done correctly and according to the specifications. In addition, maintenance is one of the necessary functions to support its core operations. The main goal of maintenance is to minimize the possible and systematic failure of the elements of road effectively. Thus, this course will be beneficial as it will be conducted with the intention of stimulating interest and knowledge of the participants with five (5) topics of roads construction, procurement of materials and machineries, work planning, quality control, and road maintenance.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to supervise road works and road maintenance work systematically. This is due to the participants are exposed on the basic of road construction, quality control and road maintenance.
