About International House Cairo
International House Cairo (IH Cairo) is part of the International House World Organisation, a global network of 160 language schools in over 50 countries and one of the largest and oldest groups of language schools in the world. IH Cairo offers all learners a well-structured course, a positive and enjoyable learning environment as well as educational support.
IH Cairo is located in Dokki neighborhood, in the heart of Cairo. The neighborhood is quiet yet very central, students can find all the facilities they may need near the school. Students will enjoy a full immersion in Egyptian history, culture and language, as the school is near a lot of touristic places in Cairo, such as: the pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, The Egyptian Museum, Khan El-Khalili, the Fatimid and the Ottoman Cairo.
We follow the CEFR standards (Common European Framework of Reference), which is a global scale of language level. It describes what people can actually do in the language. These abilities start from knowing just a few words, to knowing and using the language almost perfectly.
