Course details

This course covers supervising, realising or producing of 2D and 3D prototypes, models, mock-ups, samples or test pieces. The skills include establishing criteria for prototype production and testing, and evaluating the prototype.

Course Objectives/Outline

• Establish requirements for prototype production and testing
• Supervise production of prototypes to ensure conformance to design specifications
• Coordinate testing of prototypes in accordance to production procedures
• Establish criteria for evaluation of prototypes
• Evaluate prototype against evaluation criteria

Assessment Activities

Throughout the course, the participant will perform case studies, role plays, do written assignments, supervise and produce 2D and 3D prototypes.
