Course details

In this course, students will learn the advanced features of Word 2013. They will explore how to automate with Microsoft word through the use of building blocks, Quick Parts, fields, and Macros. Students will also utilize reference tools such as bookmarks, hyperlinks, cross references, footnotes, endnotes, bibliography tools, sources, and placeholders. Students will learn techniques on how to efficiently manage long documents through the use of a table of contents, indexing, captions, and a table of figures. Students will also work with the Outline View and explore how to create a master document and subdocuments, how to perform a Mail Merge, and how to create forms.
