Person In-Charge Program International Center for Culinary Arts Dubai

Person In – Charge training is mandatory for all food & catering businesses operating under the jurisdiction and purview of the Dubai Municipality.

The Person In-Charge program is specially designed for managers, supervisors, team leaders and persons responsible in the catering, restaurant & food retail industry.  

The PIC qualification is awarded at 3 different levels and is based on the food safety risk levels of operations.

Level 1 Person In-Charge Program

  • This qualification is suitable for supervisors and team leaders working in the wholesale & retail food stocking and selling industry such as groceries, supermarkets, logistic companies etc.

Level 2 Person In-Charge Program

  • This qualification is suitable for supervisors, team leaders and line managers working in the catering industry and for those owning/managing catering businesses, which are of medium risk in nature, such as bakeries etc.

Level 3 Person In-Charge Program

  • This qualification is suitable for supervisors, team leaders and line managers working in the catering industry and food businesses, which are high risk in nature.
