Award in Education and Training (الشهادة الأولي في التعليم والتدريب )
This KHDA approved Award in Education and Training is an introductory teaching certification. Achieving this Award will provide sufficient evidence that the you have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare, plan, deliver and evaluate basic teaching and learning sessions, in a variety of teaching or training contexts. This introductory, knowledge-based teaching qualification has no minimum teaching practice requirement. Therefore, it may be undertaken by individuals who are not in a teaching role. However, there is a minimum requirement to take part in micro–teaching.
It can meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers, including:
Individuals not currently teaching or training.
Individuals currently teaching and training, including those who have just begun or are about to begin.
Individuals currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification providing an introduction to teaching.
It gives you the opportunity to:

Develop skills in teaching and learning.
Achieve a KHDA approved certification.
Develop your own personal growth and engagement in teaching and learning.

Methods of Assessment
In order to achieve your certification you will complete a series of theoretical and practical tasks. Your practical task includes a teaching session.
Our qualified teaching staff will guide you through the process, through focused classroom activities , lectures and webinars.
Entry requirements for Award
You must be aged 19 or over to enroll on this course. You are also required to have a good level of written and spoken English to complete the units and practical assessments.
Course delivery method
Career Skills Training uses a blended approach to course delivery. We will use all the latest technology to deliver these qualifications and you will be engaging in session activities, group activities and complete a practical teaching session.
You will have a dedicated support tutor who will provide you support that you require.

Who we are?
Career Skills Training is a training institute formed by a group of educators who have several years of experience in providing education and training in academic and vocational qualifications in the UK.
We are approved by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority(KHDA) to provide our services in a range of training areas to meet the demands of KHDA in UAE.
We are particularly excited about the teacher training programmes that have been mapped to UAE and UK standards. The management team of Career Skills Training have taught and coordinated teacher training courses in the UK.
The certificates available will give teachers and trainee teachers the opportunity to improve their qualifications by taking short courses that complement each other.
The new Teacher and Educational Leadership Standards for the UAE (TELSUAE) are expected to improve the performance of teachers and educational leaders. The national licensing system for teachers indicates that all teachers are required to meet the standards when it becomes available.
We are inviting existing teachers and potential graduates who are seeking to embark on a career to participate in our teaching programme.
