Course details
This course is for combined and full-time study, is to teach the students the basics of technical drawing and design in SolidWorks programme. By graduating this subject the student obtain a knowledges and practical skills required for reading of engineering drawings and creating the drawings in SolidWorks CAD System including the creating 3D models.Topics included:
- Introduction into CAD design
- The rules for creating mechanical engineering drawings in CAD systems
- Rules for dimensioning
- Geometric tolerances
- Sketching in CAD systems
- Basic of working in SolidWorks
- Creation of components in SolidWorks
- Creation of assemblies in SolidWorks
- Export, design and printing of engineering drawings in CAD system SolidWorks
