Transforming Anger, A Deep And Natural Approach To Dealing With Anger: is about moving beyond anger management techniques to learn how to live with anger in a healthy way. Anger is an emotion, it is a powerful emotion and one that we often experience. Anger is natural and therefore an emotion which we need to learn how to live with. If this makes sense to you then this course is for you. 

One of the difficulties with anger management techniques is that they are generally based in pushing anger away and controlling it (variations of counting to 10). Being able to contain anger is important but when we push something away we give energy to it. Eventually our anger can erupt and create more problems than the difficulty we were trying to avoid.

Anger needs our attention, indeed anger is requesting our attention because it is saying that something needs attended to. However when we approach things through anger we often confuse and complicated the issue. Anger itself is not the problem here , it is the actions and attitudes we take when we are angry which is the problem. So this course is about learning how to contain your anger, listening to your anger, and finding healthy and honest ways of expressing what you are feeling angry about. 

The aim of this course is to help you deal with and express anger in a manner which is beneficial for you and your relationships. The course content is structured over 13 sections each taking a week to complete. This does not mean that you will have to wait 13 weeks to feel an improvement is about enabling a deepening of the process rather than just a shift in our thoughts which doesn't tend to create sustained change. 

The course is a mixture of videos, lectures and exercises. An emphasis is placed on self-reflection and developing and deepening your awareness. Each sections builds on the previous section making each section an integral part of the larger whole. Therefore learning takes place at many levels through this building process. Some of this learning is conscious which you will be aware of it and some unconscious. This is a cycle which can be repeated to develop self-knowledge and improve your relationship with anger.

This course may help you change your relationship with anger, and consequently with yourself and other people. This can help you build stronger and more fruitful relationships and live a more peaceful and rewarding life.
