Course details

This book club is a way for you to improve your information diet.

What you consume habitually ends up shaping a big part of your learning. An hour a week is over 50 hours over the course of each year. 500 hours each decade.

Let's say you're making $50/hour...that's a $2,500 investment each year!

Your time is valuable.

Spend it on the best content.

Each month I put together a list of ten recommendations.

4 Books

4 Articles or Essays

2 Video or audio based recommendations

Sometimes I will recommend a specific title, sometimes I will recommend a series of things or something I recommend subscribing to.

My goal is that 80%  or more of the content I recommend will be things you've never heard of before.

I've talked about in other courses that some of the best books I read are the ones with zero Amazon reviews.

These are the things I want to recommend.

Things you would never hear about otherwise.

Many book clubs focus on getting everyone together to read some popular book.

It's not a bad idea but it means you're still part of the herd of people that are all consuming the same ideas.

To have a competitive advantage you need to think different.

This book club will help you do that.

And you're not just getting a list of things.

I spend a few minutes on video for each item explaining it's significance and why I think you should read it.

In this book club you'll get:

  • Tips on how to improve your information diet
  • A new way of looking at the way what you consume shapes a big part of your learning
  • How to spend your valuable time on only the best content
  • A monthly list of recommendations including 4 books, 4 articles or essays, and 2 video or audio based recommendations
  • Recommendations of never-before-seen content
  • A different approach to the focus of a book club different from what most book clubs are doing
  • Analysis of each recommended item and why you should read it

See you inside,

-Timothy
