Course details
Lean management is a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. It requires a set of skills and habits at every level of the organization. The purpose of this course is to provide the training that will build those skills. Many organizations have done a better job implementing the technical systems of lean but have struggled to create the social systems, the habits and culture. This course provides an economical delivery system that can create consistency of language and behavior.
The team, the small work group, is the foundation learning organization just as the family is in society. Whether the natural work teams on the front line or management teams, it is the performance of these teams that will determine the performance of the organization. Team members and team leaders must be trained in problem-solving, developing scorecards and visual display, process mapping and eliminating waste, and the skills of decision making. This course provides those skills.
The methods in this course are well proven and the author has been implementing them in major corporations for more than 35 years.
