Course details

A tablet computer, or simply tablet, is a complete mobile computer, larger than a mobile phone or personal digital assistant, integrated into a fl at touch screen and primarily operated by touching the screen. It often uses an onscreen virtual keyboard or a digital pen rather than a physical keyboard.

This introductory course will begin discussions on the history of tablet computers. The succeeding modules will discuss the form factor of tablet computers and tablet system software. It will also present the tablet's system software and the history and features of Microsoft Tablet PC, Pocket Computer Phone and Ultra Mobile PC.
