Companies in every industry are looking to make better use of their data. Much of the data analysis is done in spreadsheets, with Excel and similar applications, but spreadsheets don't work that well with larger and more complex data. In those cases, a SQL database (Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, or PostgreSQL) is usually the best solution.

So if you'd like to expand your data analysis skill set and be able to work with larger more complex data you need to learn SQL.

Please note that the software will not work on macs, only on Windows.
