Course details
A Sling Operations Rating is an advanced flight training endorsement that enables you to carry an external load or cargo beneath the helicopter. A Sling Operations Rating gives you the skills you need to work in a range of high-demand flight operations including fire fighting, search and rescue, mining, cargo transport and agriculture.
Theory Training
- Sling Operations Rating theory covers the following:
- short sling line rigging
- carriage of cargo
- organisation and briefing of
- ground crew
- emergencies

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students wishing to enrol in the Airways Aviation Night VFR should hold at least a current CASA PPL (Helicopter).
