Sketchup for the Design Conceptualization of a House

This course is apractical approach in the development of a design concept of a house using sketchup. The learning experience comes in two ways that is learning how to use sketchup easily and exploring your creativity while formulating a design concept in general.

It is intended to transfer the hand-sketching skills of a designprofessionals to the 3d modeling tools that are widely used nowadays.

The example used in this course is the production of a plan and the development of a3d models for the design conceptualization process andthe presentation of the final design proposal.

At the end of this course, you will be able to use sketchup quickly and easily which will become part of your day to day activity developing your designs without getting distracted by the tool. This is rather designed to help you stay focused in designing rather than getting distracted from the tool itself. You will also be able to explore andproduce variety of styles for your design presentations. On top of that, you will create an actual plan and 3d model of a Thee Bedroom residence.

This will be a 10 hour course with more time spent in the production of a conceptual design using Sketchup, so that, at the end of this course, you will be equipped with the skills using sketchup and be able to refreshed yourself with the design process as part of your regular practice.
